About the Product
Product Description The [V Shading] was developed to solve two major contouring problems: unnatural orange tones and uneven usage.
- The "V" Ratio (1:2:1): Most palettes have equal-sized pans, but we always run out of the medium shade first. Peripera increased the middle shade's size to ensure you can use the palette until the very end.
- The Texture: It uses micro-fine powder particles that blend seamlessly into the skin. It doesn't look muddy or cakey, even when layered.
- The Finish: It creates a "Shadow," not a "Tan." The colors are specifically desaturated to look like actual depth, making your nose look higher and your jawline sharper.
🎨 Color Guide: Finding Your Shadow
The range is divided by skin tone intensity and undertone.
01 Natural Brown (The Standard)
- Best For: Light to Medium skin tones (Korean #21–#23).
- The Vibe: Soft, natural shading.
- Undertone: A neutral brown that isn't too yellow or too red.
- Use: Perfect for nose contouring and subtle jawline definition.
02 Deep Brown (The Definer)
- Best For: Medium to Tan skin tones (Korean #23+) or those who want a dramatic cut.
- The Vibe: Defined, sharp shading.
- Undertone: A richer, deeper brown.
- Use: Ideal for shaving off the jawline, hairline, or for stage/camera makeup where shadows need to be visible.
03 Grayish Cool (The Cool-Tone Hero)
- Best For: Cool skin tones or very pale skin.
- The Vibe: Ashy, shadowy, and clean.
- Undertone: A true cool grey-brown with zero yellow.
- Use: The holy grail for nose contouring on cool skin (it looks like a real shadow, not dirt).
🖌️ Key Features & Benefits
1. 3-Step Gradient
Each palette contains a Light, Medium, and Dark shade.
- Light: Use for blending or nose bridge.
- Medium: Use for nose tip, eye sockets, and cheekbones.
- Dark: Use for the jawline and hairline.
2. No Redness (Anti-Orange)
The biggest fear with contour is looking orange. Peripera minimized red pigment to ensure the colors look like natural shadows falling on the face.
3. Multi-Use Palette
While designed for the face, the fine powder works excellently as:
- Eyeshadow: For a natural deep-set eye look.
- Brow Powder: The dark shade works well to fill in eyebrows.
- Body Contour: Define collarbones or abs.
💡 How to Use
The V-Sculpting Technique:
- For the Jawline: Swirl a large brush across all three shades (or just the darker two). Sweep along the jawbone and under the chin.
- For the Nose: Use a smaller fluffy brush. Mix the Light and Medium shades. Start from the inner brow and sweep down the side of the nose bridge.
- For the Hairline: Use the Darkest shade to fill in sparse areas or receded hairlines for a smaller face effect.
